When you think of business... π€
So, when you think about running a business...
What does that mean to you?
β
Do you think employees, taxes, complicated corporation structures, office buildings, and long hours?
While all those are parts of business ownership, I'm thinking about something else when I mention a business.
β
The way of the world is changing.
A life free of major obligation with low financial responsibilities is trending more than ever before.
Check out this study:

It's called a 'Sharing Economy'.
Uber, Lime Scooters, AirBnb, Virtual Offices, Fractional C-level executives. It's been growing for years.
In similar fashion, the new way (for me, at least) is to build business income around a lifestyle rather than the reverse.
β
So what I'm referring to, is a lean, one-person business. A Solopreneurship.
Where you take your skills and your passion...
mix the two together and provide value.
Low barrier to entry, one idea, awesome clients, building a schedule to support a dream lifestyle. (working less than 10 hours a week).
A business could make $5k a month without the owner having to do much of anything other than check in a few hours a week, which would definitely be considered successful, at least to me.
Then, it becomes a matter of scaling.
β
So don't let the thought of 'business' overwhelm you, and keep you from starting that idea.
You know, the one you only tell your close friends about.
Yeah that one.
β
When you think of business, especially starting off, think of the end goal first, then build an automated system around that end goal using your current skillset/knowledge in an industry you're passionate about.
β
And here's a secret.
There's a quick way to see if a business idea is valuable to the market without spending any money and within a few hours. π
I'll tell those who respond to this letter with 'Business Minded.'
β
But anyway, If you've been in any job for more than a year, you have some knowledge that can help others traveling a similar journey. Write it up or record it, package it up, and get people to download it for free.
β
And the thing is, it doesn't matter what happens either way...
Because you'll learn:
- How to create a website (if you don't already)
- How to write copy to sell a product online
- How to write a book or record a course
- How to hire someone to edit the video
- Or how to edit it yourself
- How to get over the anxiety of posting on social media,
- How to promote your ideas
- How to use free tools to create graphics and thumbnail art.
β
You learn so many things just from trying to do something like post a 15-minute video of what you already know online. You'll gain confidence in your problem solving, decision making, and ability to teach others.
β
The bottom line is:
When I talk of business here or in any other format, don't think of multibillion-dollar corporations or big-time apps...
Think of something small, manageable, and able to be outsourced and automated that can finance the lifestyle you dream of.
π
β
Oh yeah, If you do have an idea and have no idea where to start, I'd like to help you.
Respond to this email with a question and let's start talking about it.
